The Second TESCEA Joint Advisory Group Meeting


A meeting was organized at the Imperial Royale Hotel, on the 14th of December 2018 by the UMU Technical Steering Group (TSG) and the UMU Joint Advisory Group (JAG) to follow up on the activities of the project going on, in particular, the course redesign and the tasks given to the JAG members.

The meeting was attended by many of the UMU JAG members as well as the UMU TSG members.

The chair of the JAG and Executive Director National Union of Coffee Agribusiness and Farm Enterprises, Mr. Joseph Ssenkandwa, noted that UMU has progressed on what was proposed and has come up with a document on way forward which was to be shared to the members. These and other issues were discussed.

The UMU lead Prof. Ngabirano Maximiano acknowledged that staff members at UMU are very enthusiastic about the transformative teaching and learning. He requested the JAG to involve other organizations to expand our influence in the country.
