The TESCEA course redesign workshop was held from 3rd to 7th December at Garden Corts Hotel, Masaka.

The workshop had teaching staff from Uganda Martyrs Univesity, A team from The Association for Faculty Enrichment in Learning and Teaching (AFELT) who were the facilitators of this workshop, and a team from the International Network for the Availability of Scientific Publications(INASP). The workshop was opened by Mrs. Roseline Ssali who represented the Chancellor, Prof. John Chrysostom Maviiri.

UMU Teaching staff were trained in identifying main concepts taught, formulating course outcomes for each concept attaching assessments to the outcomes. There was an exploration of skills students will get both hard and soft and strategies to be used to deliver. The workshop was closed with remarks from the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Michael Mawa.
