1) DAAD Scholarships for the Master of Research and Public Policy 2017/18

PASGR invites applications from eligible candidates for the DAAD In-Country/In-Region Scholarships for the MRPP. The scholarships include tuition fees to the university according to the submitted fees structure, a monthly stipend to cover living costs and accommodation (at DAAD rates), as well as an annual study and research allowance. 2) Commonwealth Master’s Scholarships in Uganda (For foreign / international students living in Uganda).

It is currently for students pursuing the subjects of Agriculture or Health-related subjects. Click this link for application form and more details. Applications close on 10 March 2017 at midnight GMT.


3) The Higher Education Students Financing Board (HESFB) students’ loan scheme.

The Board has received funds from the Government of Uganda to be used for financing Ugandan Students who are pursuing studies in Higher Education Institutions in Uganda. Click here for more information of the students’ loan scheme


4) The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS), in collaboration with Uganda Martyrs University (UMU) announces scholarships.

For Bachelor and Masters Degree programmes in three disciplines, namely:
(1) Local Governance and Human Rights (Bachelor and Masters Degree),
(2) Democracy and Development Studies (Bachelor Degree),
(3) Research and Public Policy (Masters Degree).
The scholarships are targeted towards aspiring future leaders across a range of social, political, and economic fields.
